Kiltwalk Training - Week 2 of 2

Well it's the last night before this Kiltwalk. I've reached my goal of £100 and am currently sitting at £115. Smashing, thanks to all my donors!

If you still fancy donating, well here it is once more:

I managed to get a few miles done this week:

  • 8th - 9.9 miles
  • 9th - 11.9 miles
  • 10th - 5.7 miles
  • 11th - 6.3 miles
  • 12th - 5.7 miles
  • 13th - 1.6 miles (so far, but probably not much more!)

After Monday's post, I did indeed get out for a walk. I headed along the beach to the Brig of Balgownie and back through old Aberdeen.

Ahh, finally reached my destination, the good old Blue Lamp!

Tuesday's more epic walk took me from work out through Hilton to the Tesco's at Danestone for tea, then back along the riverside path to the Brig once more.

Almost the same shot as the day before

It's a Super Moon. Wish I had my SLR and zoom lens at this point.

Wednesday and Thursday I took a bit easier, and Friday evening was hampered a bit by really thick fog up in Buckie.

This photo isn't really out of focus, the fog was obscuring the church anyway!

Then there's today. I did a spot of sewing on my kilt to make sure it will hold up for the distance, and made sure my "Oor Wullie" t-shirt fits.

I've lowered my goal quite a bit today as there's a long walk ahead tomorrow. So I thought I'd take Phoebe's advice:
