I went a bit snap happy for today's Solar Eclipse. The weather in Aberdeen was not great for it, very overcast. During the height of the eclipse, the sky was more than 50% clear, however not where the sun was positioned!
I was mainly using my Olympus E-PL5 camera, Olympus 40-150mm f4:5.6 lens and a cheap FOTGA variable ND filter.
I also setup my iPhone to see what it could get on time lapse.
Photos were set to every two seconds, then rendered at 60fps.
The results aren't great, although I had exposure lock on, when the sun is not behind clouds it's too overexposed to make out the shape. Also it would ocassionally refocus onto the rather dirty window!
There are a also quite a few birds appearing in shot for single frames.
